As you know that it`s little difficult to find the driver for it whether via google or forum. When I firstly met this problem, honestly I got little frustration how hard to find this driver. But with little trick, I finally found the way how to solve the problem.
The answer is by using alternative driver.
Yes, I am using alternative driver that actually have been provided by windows xp sp2 (built in driver windows XP). And It's really works
If you install windows xp sp2, only 2 driver that cannot detected, that are modem and VGA
Modem: type >> VT82C686/A/B,VT8233/A Modem Codec
you can use "Lucent Technologies Software AMR Modem" [In windows xp].
How to install the driver?
- Open up device manager
- Choose modem/communication device
- Right click and then click "update driver">>Next
- Click "don't search.." >> Next
- Choose "modem" >> Next
- Choose "Lucent" >> "Lucent Technologies Software AMR Modem" >> Next..next 'till finish
VGA: s3 twister>> S3 Graphics Twister 001214C0 (Microsoft Corporation) [in windows xp]
How to install the driver?
- Open up device manager
- Choose VGA display adapter
- Right click and then click "update driver">>Next
- Click "don't search.." >> Next
- Choose "Display..." >> Next
- Choose "S3" >> "S3 Graphic Twister 001214CO (Microsoft Corporation)" >> Next..next 'till finish
